Need for Speed (NFS short, engl. For 'desire for speed ") is a car racing game series from Electronic Arts. Besides the versions for the PC, the series for 3DO, iPhone, Mobile, Nintendo DS, Game Boy Advance, Gamecube, Wii, Sega Saturn, Playstation (2/3/Portable), published Pre Palm and Xbox (360). The series is known for being real, existing early erken production cars and concept vehicles with manufacturer's license into the game cover. The games are published by the American software company Electronic Arts. The series began with the game The Need for Speed in 1994 and continues to this day.
